This is a great piece, not only for display, but also for serving, for it does go into the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Susan made this plate using the slab roller, then after a preliminary firing I glazed it in our white matt glaze, then gave it back to Susan, who hand painted the Shamrocks onto it. Then the design was fired in at 2260*F, so the Shamrocks will never fade or rub off. The size of the plate is 11 by 7 inches.
