Susan hand paints each one of these with Texas Blue Bonnets onto a white matt glaze, which is on the outside of the bowl and there is a blue liner glaze on the inside. The designs are fired in at 2260*F and will never fade or rub off, so the bowls are made to be used and can be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. The bowls make an excellent addition to any table for serving side dishes, vegetables and our favorite, mashed potatoes.
